Villa Rustica: open day in Rottweil, Germany

Our Archaeology Day was a popular program in Rottweil last Saturday. We did not expect so many to visit our excavation where for the first and last time before the final demolition, there was an opportunity for anyone to see the uncovered remains of a villa rustica of the Roman city Arae Flaviae. Our archaeologists were pleased to offer the visitors guided tours of the site and to answer their questions.
