Two of our colleagues, Stephan Deiters and Dániel Fűköh participated as lecturers in the theme session of the annual scientific conference Metaaltijdendag held on October 4, 2019 in Amersfoort, The Netherlands. This year, the main topic of the Metal Ages Day was the appearance and identity, people-related objects, jewellery and wear in the metal ages. Many exciting lectures were held to the large audience.
Stephan Deiters gave a lecture about the changes of Late Bronze Age population in North Rhine-Westphalia and their possible causes while Daniel Fűköh presented the grave goods of the Bronze Age cemetery that was explored at Encs last year. After the lectures, our colleagues answered the questions from the audience.
